American Distress

Record High played last night @ Ziggy's. They opened for American Distress, a great hard-core band from NYC. Fun times were had by all. There was a table set out with some CDs and 7-inches for sale on it. The Spawn Sacs' 7-inch was there and I over heard a kid telling someone, "Hey man, this band is awesome. That guy over there in the red (pointing to Raulices), that's Raul. He played with them. Man, growing up I lived by this band." I turned to Jeannine and said, "I married a super star!" LOL Funny stuff for sure. I have no pics of the show... disgustingly enough... because I'm a loser and don't own a digi cam and rely heavily on my work camera (which was out of town doing actual work).

For any of you scooterists in the SE USA, Hill City United Scooter Club is hosting its inaugural Chattanooga Scooter Rally "Hill on Wheels" August 18-20, 2006. I challenge you to find a more scenic ride than the ones you'll experience in Chattanooga. The rally site will be up soon and I will post more info on it then, but for now I can tell you that there will be kick-ass beer specials, awesome rides, free food, a mighty gymkhana, live entertainment, and tons of raffle swag!

Me and My Girlies
